Last days of school, field trips,Olympiad and Birthday Celebration

Erica and Allison Norris got to participate in the Math/Science Olympiad in Pattern Blocks. They did awesome and took 3rd in the District. Way to go girls!!

Preston had a swim party on his last day of Preschool. Well actually this was his last day because his MOTHER forgot the real last day which was 2 days later. I think I deserve the Mother of the Year award for that one!!

Preston and his cute friend Luke Norris

My little guy turned 4 on May 29th and had his first friend birthday party!! We had a cute clown come and entertain these 3 and 4 year olds. It's a good thing because I probably would have gone crazy!!

Brynlee and the 2nd grade went to the Tracy Aviary and I got to go with her and help. She was so excited to go and have me there. I hope that excitement continues as she gets older....hopefully she'll still want me there.

Brynlee and Mrs. Stoddard. She is absolutely one of the best teachers ever. We have loved her and if I could take her with Bryn year after year I would!!

My biggest baby(aka)Kassidy has finished elementary and is heading towards junior high. She has some amazing friends that she has had since Kindergarten and finished this year with amazing teachers. We love her, the choices she makes and the great young lady she is becoming!!

Mother's Day and Great Kids

Kent and I went to St.George and Vegas for a few days and returned home on Mother's Day in the afternoon. My Mother and Mother-in-law took turns watching our children. On Sunday, my Mom had to leave my kids until we got home so they were alone for a couple of hours. My kids are usually pretty good when we are gone but sometimes you never know. When we got home we walked in the front door to a Welcome Home sign on one side and a Happy Mother's Day on the other. The house was spotless, the table was set, gifts in place and Kassidy made our family's favorite breakfast, which we call "Roll up Pancakes" aka..Dutch Pancakes. She has never made these before and they were wonderful. She even made one into an "M" for Mother. I am glad I got a shot because it wasn't 2 seconds later that the M was missing and Preston was hiding behind a chair eating it. Guess he couldn't wait!! I am so grateful for wonderful children who are good, good kids. I love them so much!! Thanks for making it a special day!!

Nothing quite like Sisterly love.....well this is how it is most of the time!!

After a long drive home and apparently a long day for Preston, he and Daddy went to lay on the tramp and this is what I found. Too Cute!!

And.....this is what happens when your 3 year old is addicted to the Wii. Priceless!!

Womens Conference BYU

I was able to go to Womens Conference a few weeks ago with some GREAT friends. This has become an annual tradition and we love it. Not only do you get to be around good friends but you get a recharge of your batteries from all the wonderful messages and thoughts.

We stopped on our way down and got pedicures and ate California Rolls...Kami and Kammie enjoying themselves

This was a much welcomed stop at PF CHangs. Oh the food....it is sooo good!!

Susan was feeling a bit hungry!!

Good times....Good friends

We were blessed to be able to hear from Elder L. Tom Perry

Hippity Hoppity Easter's come and gone!!

We had a much needed break for the Easter weekend. The kids have been begging to go to Bear Lake because we always go during the winter months so they can sled and swim at the indoor pool. I was all for somewhere warm but Bear Lake it was. We went with my lil sis Aimee and family and have decided this needs to be a tradition. This year was especially fun. As we drove there we couldn't believe we weren't seeing much snow. The great tubing hill had enough to be able to go out of the Bear Lake area and sled but down at the lake not one ounce of snow and the lake wasn't even frozen. It was gorgeous. We did the Saturday Easter egg hunt on grass this year(last year it was covered in snow), went and watched the snowmobile climbs, went sledding without jackets and even got sunburned YEAH!!,played in the lake, played tennis and swam, swam, swam. It was the perfect weekend and definitely not long enough for the kiddles.

Twister anyone?

The little ones were worn out!!

Passing time til the hunt begins!!

Fun in the.....SNOW!!

Easter Morning!!

A little trip down to the water!!

Lip Syncs....Oh so fun!!

We had a program that several of us did in our ward called "Great in 8". We had teams and for 8 weeks tried to keep track of points for eating good, exercising, drinking water etc. and then we had an activity to close it all up. I was asked to do a couple of lip Syncs with a couple friends and we had a ball. We did the song "New Girl in Town" from Hairspray and Cindi Lauper's "Girls Just Wannna Have Fun". We painted our chins with faces for Girls just wanna have fun and we laughed and laughed the whole time. The pictures don't do justice but gives you a little idea. Good times!!

The Latest and Greatest!!

Erica Turned 10 on March 11th and had a fun party with her closest friends. They are such darling girls and they all have so much fun together. They played a relay game where they had to run and put on all these clothes of mine and then they had to walk back with a grapefruit between their knees. It was absolutely hilarious to watch. Some of the girls got a little crazy with the BRAS!! Cute, cute girls...I just love them all!!
