It's almost here!!!!
Are you getting excited for Twilight? Well....all the midnight showings are sold out at the Megaplex so we thought it would be fun to get a group who isn't going at midnight and go Friday the 21st at 6:30 pm and then dinner after for those who want. Kami Seward will buy tickets this Saturday so we need to get money to secure your spot. You can either get her the money or me whatever is easier. We hope you'll come and have some girl night out fun!!! Let me know what you think!!

Potty Training at it's best....continues!!
I just had to update because I am sooooo excited. For those of you who read my initial potting training post I thought the day would never come for Preston. Well.....we may have just arrived. Of course with the occasional accident Preston has decided that he can actually use the toilet. He especially loves to see me do the potty excitement dance after he goes. He will just pull those pants down anywhere and let it go. Yesterday before church he was outside and decided he needed to go so he pulled those pants down and peed on the deck. When I went to get him I saw the puddle but assumed it was water so I proceeded to pat my foot in the water. That is when Preston said, "Mom, did you know that is my pee!!" Good times!! I will take whatever I can at this point. Step by step!!

Finally.........Something to talk about!!
I have definitely been out of the Blog world for a little too long. We just returned from our Goblin Valley/Lake Powell vacation. With 80+ degree weather, fun hiking adventures, finding Geodes, seashells, boating, jumping off cliffs, and just playing in the water, they didn't want to come home. I have to admit I could have stayed longer myself. I am definitely a warm weather gal. So enough Jibber Jabber, let's get to the good stuff!! Sorry about so many pics. I want you to see it all!!
Some of the crew at Goblin Valley. We had 36 people in all.
Kass, Erica, Brynlee, Preston and Carlie Watson(Kass's friend)
Kass and Carlie
The Crew...cousins and friends on one of the many mounds to climb
Trying their hand at waterskiing!!
Kent and kids soaking in the rays! Enjoying the boat ride!
Preston loved every minute! He DID not want to come home. He loves camping!
Two of my cute, cute nieces...Morgan and Taylor
My sister Aimee striking a pose on the beach!
Theron striking his pose...must run in the family!
We found a 22 ft. cliff to jump off and after at least 1 1/2 hours of coaxing almost everyone jumped. I have the bruise to prove it!!
Preston and cousins on the 3 man tube. He cried everytime he had to get off!
We had a fun little visitor every night at our camp. He was quite tame and just looking for food.
What a bunch of cute girls!!
Brynlee will do anything for a picture!

Potty Training at its Best!!! Any Suggestions!
Ok.....so I am about at my wits end. Anyone ever been there? So Preston is almost 3 1/2 and we(oops, I mean moi!!) have been trying to potty train him since he turned 3.
Well, today was a bad , bad day. I know it will get better.....right?!! He will be ale to do this.....right?!! He won't be going to Kindergarten in diapers.....right?!! Well, I put the dreaded "underwear" on him today because he has been doing fairly in pullups. He promises me that he will tell me when he needs to go. So I ask him several times and he doesn't have to. Well....he peed in Kassidy's room(shhh! don't tell)and immediately comes to tell me. Arghh!!! He knows!! So I get him cleaned up and he goes outside to play. Things become awfully quiet so I send Kent out to check on him. You know where I am going with this don't you? Hmmmmm....yep he peed and pooped. Gotta love that in the underwear. I will spare you the details. I was actully on the phone with Kami and down walks Preston in only his underwear(because Dad's can't change them you know:)) and the pictures tell it all. Kami made me take them and post them.(yes she held a gun to my head) Hope nobody is offended:) So....if anybody has any suggestions I will try anything. I have bribed him, given him candy, offered to buy him his favorite cars/trains, tell him he can't go to preschool(like that's gonna hold), tell him about all his "big boy" friends that use the potty, offered to ship him to Zimbabwe etc. So far...no luck. Come on, I know there are some graduates of potty training 101 out there. I just need a little piece of your knowledge.

Preston's Big Day!!!!
I just had to post Preston's first day of preschool. I can't even believe he is going. It seems to be even a little bit harder knowing he is my last. He has waited FOREVER in his eyes to go to school with his "eggo" aka. Diego backpack. So....we got all ready and I told Preston I wanted some pictures before we left, to which he promptly told me, "No Mom, I don't want pictures!" Well, needless to say I forced him into it. We drove to school and he was beside himself with excitement and so was I for the precious 2 1/2 hours of "Freetime". When we walked in, I helped him hang his backpack and then he was off. Now....I was so hoping for a little bit of "Mom, don't go!" but nope....he is a boy and he could care less that I was even leaving. I snagged a hug and told him I would be back to which there was no response and not even a look my way. I guess I know where I stand. I would hate to hear the answer if he were asked, "Preschool or your Mom." I will just go right on believing it would be me. When I returned to pick him up he quickly told me he didn't want to go but with a little coaxing we got him out the door. I wanted to hold his hand to the car and play the question and answer game all the way home. Oh no......there was no hand holding and he wasn't so in to all my 20 questions. Oh well, what is a mother to do. I will still remind him daily that he is my BABY and I am not letting go that easy. Do any of you relate out there? All in all it was a fun day and we get to do the drop off again tomorrow:)
